The Classic Christmas Cookie

SugarCookiesROC began with a beloved hand me down family recipe. These sugar cookies were made every Christmas and shipped to the family and friends who needed a little taste of home over the holidays. Once I tried my hand at the recipe I continued the tradition of gifting these cookies to family, friends and especially our #BrockportCSD teachers. I began to learn that there was just something special about these cookies. 

Before I knew it more and more orders came in for birthdays, graduations, baby showers and special events. These cookies began to exist for the people who wanted to give an extra special type of gift. One filled with not only sugar but also a dash of love and a sprinkle of the feeling of home... even (or perhaps especially) when that gift is to yourself.

A lot of people ask me what is different about my recipe and the truth is, you can certainly find this recipe on the back of a box somewhere (a classic Friends episode in the making). However, I like to think that it's the continuation of baking with all the love that was handed down to me with this recipe and not just the butter and flour, that is what makes my cookies especially tasty.
